The Sun Trooper® UV (Ultra Violet) Protection Designer Sunwear Collection has been exclusively created for you by UK Designer Ruth Egeressy, BA(Hons) Contour Fashion. Previously worked as a Designer with Triumph International Germany and Hong Kong branches.
This Collection specifically aimes at providing children and youngsters , ages 1 - 13 years (height 74cm to 164cm) with an exciting range of high quality, fashionable sun protection garments that offer the optimum in technical performance swimwear fabrics together with exceptional comfort and ease of wear, to promote the Sun Trooper® motto "SAFE FUN, IN THE SUN". Ideal for the Beach, Summer Holidays at home or away, Sand Play, Outdoor Swimming Pool, Boating or just having fun in the Garden.
Our styles are designed to protect your child from harsh Ultra Violet rays UVA and UVB. All fabrics have been carefully selected, only the highest quality Nylon Lycra swimwear fabrics have been chosen, that comply to the standards regulated by ARPANSA (Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency)- the official Australian Government regulating authority. This Standard AS/NZ 4399:1996, ensures "Excellent" protection, blocking more than 97.5% of Ultra Violet Rays. All fabrics are tested by the Manufacturing company and we DO NOT use any fabrics that have been treated with extra UV absorbing chemicals, these Hi-Tec fabrics achieve their UV50+ rating through their dense weave and fine filament threads. All our fabrics and accessories are tested for harmful chemicals and submit to the Öko Tex 100 Standard, and are therefore safe for delicate skins and baby skin. (Please remember all exposed skin should be protected by regular application of a quality Suncream at least SPF 30+ ).
All garments carry swingtags for Meryl® showing Ultraviolet Protection levels and Lycra® by DuPont.
